i got in a car accident can you help me out?

Question 1
i got in a car accident can you help me out?... so yesterday i was driving and the whole tire and rim came off my car and hit another ladys car and only like 3 black tire marks on her car and shes trying to get money.

do you think she can?

Answers
1) first off anybody can sue anybody for anything. that said get a hold of your insurance company and fill them in on all of the details and then hope for the best. if it's at all possible get pictures. that will help you and your inurance company. - eye 4 n eye

2) Whoa now. You didn't keep after the maintenance on your car to the point where a tire came completely off, and struck another car and damaged it, and how you're asking if she can get money?

Of course she can, you damaged her car. Contact your insurance, make the report, get the claim number and give it to the woman so she can get her damage repaired and go on with her life.

Then get your car fixed or off the road. - oklatom

3) did you not feel your tire about to fall out?? WTH you should feel shaking .. Were you high? - Hooubis

4) She deserves money. Those marks weren't on her car until your car broke into pieces and flew into her car and messed it up. Call your insurance agent and make a police report and get the lady's car fixed.

If the engine fell off a 757 onto your house and burned it down, do you think the airline should tell you "that's your hard luck and go find yourself a new house. Pfffft!"? They gotta fix it and replace all your lost stuff, plus put you up while your house is gone. So, you didn't burn down somebody's house, but you did mess up their car. The quicker you agree to get it fixed, the less she'll complain, but if you aggravate her, and she gets some shark lawyer to start biting at your bank account, you will not like how it turns out. - don r

1) you have to go at dmv,but for that will charge you money its how you sell a car, same thing, and about the insurance yes you can do that but if she will get in an accident you are ff..d,the insurance will not cover the accident - peter pan romania

2) Talk to your mother. - don r

3) Go to the DMV. Your mom will have to pay taxes on it and a title transfer fee. - Kris W

4) Most states allow for a family transfer with only a small transfer fee (around $20) . You cannot legally continue to have the insurance in your name as only the registered owner has interest in the vehicle. She can get insurance on it and put you as a driver or you can get basic "operator insurance" to provide basic liability coverage while you a driving a non-owned car. - Robert G

Question 5
How cheap is car insurance for a 16 year-old Floridian boy driving a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer?... I'm a 16 yo dude in Florida wanting car insurance for my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer and I have never gotten any ticket of any kind. I have not violated any rules....yet.

Answers
1) Since at 16 you can't have your own insurance, have your parents call their agent and ask what it would cost to add you to theirs driving a brand new car. Then look at 10 year old cars as your first car instead. - oklatom

2) is the car under "your name" if not the owner must add you as a daily driver. For a 16 yr old its a little pricey I guarantee. - Hooubis

3) Tom is right--you'll want to be sitting down when you get the premiums on even a "small, affordable" car like the Lancer. The comp/collision figures will eat you alive. Buy a beater for cash and use the money you save for buying gas. - David

4) Since you're 16 and basically have no driving record yet, your insurance premiums are going to be sky high. I wouldn't count on less than $1500-$2000/ Year. Keep your grades high- "B" or better average. Take driver's ed and driver's training if your school offers those. Those qualifications might afford you small discounts. If you want to know why young people get stomped for insurance, look at that "yet..." in your last sentence. Everybody breaks rules. Most people get caught once or twice. Every ticket costs not only the fine, but an insurance rate increase for years. - don r
